Light of the Himilaya wins the 'Best of Festival Award' and 'First Place' in the Feature/Series Segments Category at The My Hero Short Film Festival in Los Angeles.

Michael Brown receives the International Alliance for Mountain Film - Grand Prize.
Each year, members of the IAMF select a filmmaker who has made a significant contribution to the mountain film genre. Michael is the first North American as well as the youngest recipient to date. Previous winners include: Gerhard Baur; Leo Dickinson, Fulvio Mariani and others. The Banff Mountain Film Festival hosted the award presentation.

Alps IMAX¨ won for "Best Cinematography" at the Giant Screen Cinema Association. Alps IMAX¨ was nominated in three categories: 'Best Film Produced Exclusively for Giant Screen Theaters', 'Best Cinematography', and 'Best Sound'. Our own Michael Brown was the Director of Mountain Photography for the spectacular film.

Climate Chaos film has won 'Best of Festival' at the International Wildlife Film Festival in Missoula, plus Best Scientific Content, Best Conservation Message, Best Conservation and Environmental, Best Television Series Over $250,000 Budget, and Best Presenter/Host. The film has also been designated the most important science films of 2006 by the European Broadcast Commission (Eurovision).
