Teaching and Mentoring

 

Making films for many years and mentoring new crew members helped me see my true calling: teaching. It came from that amazing feeling that I get when a person gets a concept I am showing, and they light up with excited energy. Being a part of those moments is the best feeling.

We founded the Adventure Film School as an offshoot of Serac Adventure Films in 2005, then partnered with Outside Magazine to create the Outside Adventure Film School. I have co-led with Keith Partridge the Banff Adventure Filmmakers Workshop since 2008.
